CAD Part 1
Overview
Fusion360
Step 1: Sketching of the keychain with the necessary dimensions of 65mm x 25mm
Step 2: As seen from the picture, Offset and Fillet techniques were used. Fillet allowed us to have curvy edges and Offset allowed us to copy the selected sketch geometry a specified distance away from the original geometry. .
Step 3: The next step I did was insert a line on the sketch and set it to "Normal/Construction". Next, I set a distance of 7 mm between the left wall of the sketch and the line I created. This is followed by inserting a point on the middle of the line, followed by a circle with radius 5 mm.
Step 4: Step 4 was about inserting a text box onto the sketch and adding my name onto it.
Step 5: For this outcome, I hit "Finished Sketch" followed by extruding the sketch by 3 mm while excluding the hole.
Step 6: This was the final product that I got after extruding the body and my name by 1.5 mm and offsetting it by 3mm
